Do you need a hearing test? It’s never been easier to test your hearing. WHO have launched a free app that you can download on your smartphone. The hearWHO app enables you to check your hearing and track it over time. If the app gives you a low score, it will advise you to see a specialist for a professional hearing test. If you recognise any of the signs on the following list, you may well need a hearing test:
- Difficulty hearing people in conversation – needing to ask people to repeat themselves
- Becoming tired or stressed having to concentrate on hearing people properly
- Increasing the volume on the TV, radio or devices
- A ‘ringing’ sound in your ears (tinnitus)
