I qualified at St Thomas’ Hospital Medical School, London in 1989 and completed specialist ENT training in London and the South Thames region. I am on the General Medical Council’s Specialist Register (GMC number 3335534). I undertook specialist training in Head and Neck surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital, London, and advanced training in thyroid and parathyroid surgery at the Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals, London. I was awarded a Fellowship by the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and trained at two centres of excellence in Amsterdam and Stuttgart. I received a National award in 2018 from the Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists for the introduction of the first One-Stop Swallow Disorder Clinic in the UK.
I am committed to delivering personalised care and optimal outcomes for my patients. I prioritise patient involvement in the decision-making process regarding their care and collaborate closely with consultant colleagues across all specialities.

Andriy Drypen is an Audiology Consultant, and owner of All Ears! Independent Hearing Specialists. He specialises in hearing and balance rehabilitation for adults throughout Kent and the South East. Since starting his practice Andriy established an expansive network of healthcare professionals, including ENT and Neurology Consultants, Physiotherapists, Nurses, and Counsellors, in order to provide the most comprehensive and holistic service.
At his practice, Andriy uses the latest sophisticated audiological equipment to assess the function of the hearing and balance system. Andriy typically sees people with hearing loss, dizziness, vertigo and balance disturbances, all types of tinnitus, and a feeling of ear pressure/fullness/pain.
Andriy is registered with all private medical insurance providers, and also welcomes self-funding patients. It is not necessary to have a GP referral to access Andriy’s services.
Rachel Tomlin trained at University College London where she gained a Bachelor of Science in Speech Sciences. She worked at St George’s University Hospitals Trust in London for eleven years, gaining experience as a Specialist Speech and Language therapist in clinical voice disorders, ENT and Head & Neck surgery assessment and management.
Mr Kirkland may refer you to Rachel for a course of voice therapy following a laryngeal assessment. Voice therapy will provide strategies and techniques to help you use your voice effectively, aiming to reduce vocal tract discomfort and improve the overall quality of your voice.
An initial consultation with Rachel lasts an hour with follow up sessions for around forty five minutes. Patients typically require six to eight sessions on average.
You will be asked to follow the advice and to practice the exercises in between sessions.
Patients with medical insurance will need to provide a pre-authorisation code from their insurer prior to commencing therapy. She is recognised provider for all the major medical insurance companies.
Rebecca is the Practice Manager and works behind the scenes in operations, office and clinic administration. She is the friendly and welcoming voice on the end of the phone helping to book patients into clinics, dealing with any queries, and liasing with hospitals and insurance companies. She is on hand to answer any questions – however small. She is instrumental in setting up new pathways and works hard to ensure patients receive the best quality care.
Her role is versatile, when she’s not on the phone running the day to day business, Rebecca is involved in the marketing and business development for The ENT Clinic.
With three children of her own, she is used to being well organised and adaptable. When not at work, you will find her out in her garden or pitch-side watching her children play sport.
Victoria is your first port of call when booking an appointment or requesting information. Her friendly and efficient manner helps to make patients feel at ease during their patient journey. Victoria started her career as a dental nurse in her hometown of Tenterden in Kent, before moving to London and working for a Harley Street dental practice where she worked her way to becoming a Practice Manager.
In 2006 Victoria moved to Dubai, UAE with her now husband and worked in a large dental practice, before moving to work for a British law firm running their front of house team. In 2009 she moved to Doha, Qatar and worked for a prominent British law firm as part of their front of house team as client liaison as well as supporting the admin and secretarial teams.
After starting a family in the Middle East, the family moved back to Kent in 2017, and she now lives on the Kent coast.
When not working Victoria can most often be found on the beach with her young family.
