Paul has recently attended an International Coblation course.
He will be introducing Coblation technology into his practice, in particular when performing nasal surgery and Tonsillectomies. This technique reduces post-operative bleeding and pain; and speeds up recovery time.
Coblation technology uses radio frequency energy and saline to create a plasma field. This enables the procedure to be conducted at reduced temperatures which results in minimal damage to surrounding healthy tissue.
